Vulva Obscura book & special edition
Standing up for the vulva, removing shame from the labia and showing its unseen diversity: this is the driving force behind Hanne Lamon’s photo project Vulva Obscura. By portraying the intimate places of a hundred women, she offers an unseen view of this source of life force. She lifts the veil of what usually remains hidden and subtly reveals a wealth of unique manifestations. She shows how every vulva – from the mons of Venus and labia to the clitoris and the entrance to the vagina – is special, unique and beautiful, regardless of its development.

The first 100 copies are signed by the photographer and have an extra vulva pin. The pins are made in collaboration with textile artist Charlotte Vandenborre.

The book presentation will take place on 22/10 at 19u30 in Gum Ghent. The book can be picked up there. A registration link will follow, requiring confirmation of your attendance.
